Checklist
- Look for missing, lifted, cracked, or curled shingles from the ground.
- Check ceilings, walls, and attic areas for stains or moisture.
- Photograph gutters, downspouts, granules, and visible roof-edge concerns.
- Note when the issue started and whether it followed wind, hail, or heavy rain.
- Do not climb on the roof; save roof-surface assessment for a trained inspector.
